Another Body

I am trapped in a space.
A black cement space.
It is dark all around.

Water is rising.
I float in the water.
The water keeps rising.

I am scared.
I am afraid.
I am gripped by the fear of death.

Before I know it, the water has filled the space.
I am submerged in water.
At some point, I realize.

This body is not my real body.
I am not dying.
It is just temporary clothes that are soaking wet for a moment.

As this thought comes to me,
A different bright body emerges from the wet body.
I pass through the thick cement wall
and go up into the bright space.
The surroundings become bright.


나는 어떤 공간에 갇혀있다.
검은 시멘트 공간이다.
사방이 어둡다.

물이차오른다.
나는 물에 떠오른다.
물은 계속 차오른다.

나는 겁을 먹는다.
나는 두려워한다.
죽음의 공포에 휩싸인다.

어느새 물은 공간을 가득채웠다.
나는 물에 잠겨있다.
나는 어느순간 깨닫는다.

이 육체는 내 진짜 몸이 아니다.
나는 죽는 것이 아니다.
잠시 임시의 옷이 물에 젖는 것일 뿐.

이렇게 생각이 들자
젖은 몸에서부터 밝은 다른 몸이 나온다.
나는 두꺼운 시멘트 벽을 통과해서
밝은 공간으로 올라간다.
주변이 환해진다.
