Grandfather's Treatment

My friend and I are treating a child.
A gray liquid is oozing from his body.
We give him quick first aid,
and bring him here.

There's a table in the center.
The wall has a groove cut into it, like a window. It's arched.
And inside it are rectangular columns with notes.
These are black columns, about 30 centimeters tall.
One square column is placed inside each arched window.
They're black.

The child stands in the center of the table.

Treating an elderly grandfather or a child.

Silence.
A thirsty silence.
Here, the grandfather treats the child.
- "Grandfather will heal him."

We're a little worried that our temporary treatment didn't work perfectly, or that we've done something wrong. The grandfather doesn't say anything.
I don't know if he's angry, if he just treats people that way, or if that's just how it is.

The child's mouth is filled with black liquid.
He puts two sticks in his mouth.
The sticks seem to be doing something,
sucking up the black liquid.
When he puts the large stick in his small mouth, the black liquid seems to overflow out of his mouth.

I can't tell if this process is proceeding properly,
or if it's part of the normal healing process.

There's only silence in this space.
